Sausage rolls

    • 1 pack of ready rolled puff pastry
    • 1 pack sausagemeat (rolled into 12 balls)
    • 1 egg yolk (beaten)
    • 4 tablespoon of milk
    • A little flour for dusting

1. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and divide it into 6 large rectangles. Cut each rectangle in half diagonally to create two long triangles.
2. Place a ball of sausage meat at the wider end of the triangle and roll it upwards towards the narrow tip. Bring the ends together to form a crescent shape. Repeat this process with the remaining triangles and sausage meat.
3. Brush each roll with the beaten egg yolk and a splash of milk.
4. Place them on the crisp® plate lined with baking paper and bake for 9-10 minutes using the crisp® function.
The sausagemeat can be replaced with: meatloaf mixture; whole sausages; frankfurters or a spinach and ricotta mix.
