Warranties
If any deficiency or defect occurs with the goods delivered by us, you have the right to claim for fulfillment of your order which can be repair or replacement of the product. Under normal circumstances we will replace the defective goods with a new one. This warranty is valid for 12 months from the delivery date. We will not charge you any costs which relate to any replacement within this warranty period.
If you purchase an appliance/s from Whirlpool on our website, www.whirlpool.co.uk, you will receive the 1 Year Standard Manufacturer Parts and Labour warranty, plus an extra 5 Years’ Parts warranty on the appliance free of charge. The 6 years’ parts warranty period applies from the date of purchase of the appliance/s. This service of warranty will primarily be provided in the country of original purchase. However, services will be provided in all European Union countries and Switzerland on condition that the Appliance meets the local technical specifications. The services are transferable with our permission. We must receive back the original certificate and full details of the transferee, a new certificate will then be delivered to the transferee. The Service Agreement will be subject to the law of the country of original purchase. Nothing in this Service Agreement affects your statutory rights relating to the quality of any purchase or the way it was described; for further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau. If, after 60 days from purchasing your appliance you have not received the cover documentation, you should notify us at Whirlpool Warranty Department, Domestic & General Services Ltd, Leicester House, 17 Leicester Street, Bedworth, Warwickshire, CV12 8JP.
If you are buying goods as a consumer, there are also conditions about the quality of the product included in the contract between us governed by the Sale of Goods Act. Nothing in this website affects any of your rights which cannot, by law, be taken away from you. A "consumer", in this context, is defined by law as someone who is not buying "in the course of a business" and who is buying goods "of a type ordinarily supplied for private use". If you are not buying as a consumer, the terms about product quality implied which the Sale of Goods Act included in contracts of sale are not to be part of the contract between us. The only terms to be included in the contract between us are those contained or referred to in this website. We do not offer or agree to any other conditions, warranties, guaranties or representations about the quality or description of the product we supply. In case of disagreement, both Whirlpool UK limited and the consumer agree to submit to British laws.
Refunds & Returns
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item according to local and European Law within 14 (fourteen) days after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all items which are offered and purchased on this website. To withdraw from a purchase you must notify us by letter, fax or email to arrange collection of the item. There is no need to give any reason for the withdrawal however to exercise your right of withdrawal you must return the item in the same condition in which it was delivered to you within the above mentioned 14 day period. In order to ensure delivery to Whirlpool in the same condition, we will arrange for a carrier to collect and repackage the item in the dedicated packaging. Please note that you may be liable for the delivery costs of returning the item to us.

If the withdrawal is made in the above manner, the purchase contract for the item is cancelled and we shall refund your money within 30 (thirty) days. The only exception would be if you have used the item excessively or improperly, i.e. not just tested if it is right for the intended purposes; in such a case you have to pay the loss value of the item and the delivery costs.
When we receive the returned product, we will give you a full refund of any money paid for the product, including the delivery charge, if you had to return the goods because of our mistake. These terms do not affect your legal statutory rights.
At point of delivery of your new Whirlpool appliance, we offer to collect your original appliance free of charge if desired. Please note, if you wish to return your Whirlpool appliance we are not able to return your original appliance.
